Round 1: The Generic Round

Okay, we are going simple for this first round. You need to doll a full doll in a dress from Macys.com or LordandTaylor.com and a portrait.

You must have both a full doll on an approriate base and a portrait on a base that is meant to be a portrait. Face edits aren't mandatory, but they give you brownie points, we don't want to see a bunch of a identical Moes running around, you know?
Put both dolls in one image as well as the doll's name and state.
We're giving you a lot of options for the full body dress. It must be a Macy's Daytime dress, Macy's Party dress, Lord and Taylor's Day dress, or Lord and Taylor's Coctail dress. Color and print must be retained. Remember which dress it is, you'll need that info to enter!
The accesories can be from anywhere, you are not limited to a website.
No barefeet, shoes are a must.
The hair on the full doll must be up in some way. It can be a fancy updo, a half up-do, a simple ponytail, or a couple of braids. It's up to you. Dolls with short hair are exempt
The portrait doll must be wearing a black or white top. It can be a tank top, a tube top, a T-shirt, as long as it is black or white. The shirt may not be both black and white, it is one or the other. No other colors are allowed.
The hair on the portrait must be down and loose.
Any accessories are acceptable

To Reserve

You may only reserve one state at a time. To reserve a state e-mail us at missdollamerica@gmail.com, post on the tagboard, or find the topic on The Gathering.

Once you have sent in your first completed entry you may reserve your second state.

Dresses may also be reserved so that no two dolls are wearing the same one. And seeing as there is a very wide selection, it shouldn't be too hard. So, be sure to include the URL of the dress you want to reserve when you reserve your state.

All reservations are null and void on July 6th and the states are to be filled in on a first come basis. The final deadline is July 20th.
