General Rules to Abide
- Do NOT, and I mean DO NOT enter anything that is not your own work. I'm serious. That means, but is not limited "frankendolling," drag 'n drops, or outright stolen dolls. If you are found breaking this rule you WILL be automatically eliminated and may not enter any future MDA.
- You may only enter two times.
- All entrants must be female, it is MISS Doll America after all. She must also appear at least 18 years old.
- Bases must be bigger than "prep" sized.
- Entries must not exceed 250w x 300h.
- Accepted formats include transparent gifs, transparent pngs, and gifs, pngs, bmps with a white background.
- Small backgrounds are allowed. Props are not allowed, unless otherwise indicated in a specific round. Absolutely no animations.
- Each entry for each round should include the doll's name, represented state. Other information is optional unless otherwise indicated in the specific round.
- You must use the same base throughout the whole competition. Different poses of the same base set is allowed however.
- Please, no gore or nudity, this is not the place for that.
- All entries are absolute. You may not change your entry after it has been sent in. If there is something wrong with your entry you will be notified and you may correct the mistake. You may also withdraw from the competition before voting for round 1 begins.
Judging System
Entries will be judged on a judge/poll basis. Each part is worth 50% of contestant's scores.The judges' score card will look something like this...
General Appearance (full doll): 0-30
General Appearance (portrait): 0-20
Technical Aspects (ie: shading, outline, clarity): 0-20
Dress Accuracy: 0-15
Attention to Detail: 0-10
Follwed the Rules:0-5
The top 25 (semi-finalists) of Round 1 will advance to Round 2.
The top 10 (finaists) of Round 2 will advance to Round 3.
The winner, 1st runner up, 2nd runner up, and 3rd runner up will be determined.
